We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and highly organized Associate Attorney to join our established and growing law practice in Elizabeth, New Jersey.We handles landlord-tenant law, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and litigation arising from it.We are looking for an attorney who is eager to take responsibility, demonstrate initiative, and develop professionally while working on meaningful and challenging legal matters.ResponsibilitiesHandle residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters, including court appearances, motions, hearings, and trials.Manage civil and commercial litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal nduct legal research and prepare case strategies.Represent clients in negotiations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions.Maintain direct communication with clients and opposing counsel.Independently manage assigned matters, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of experience practicing law required.Admission to the New Jersey Bar and good standing required.Litigation experience preferred.Real estate experience is a plus.Experience handling landlord-tenant matters is desirable.Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.Strong work ethic, professionalism, and accountability.& BenefitsStarting annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Opportunity for performance-based .Health insurance benefits.401(k) retirement plan.Paid time off.Opportunities for professional development and significant courtroom experience.Why Join Our Law Office?Our associates receive meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and opportunities to develop their litigation and transactional skills.We offer a professional, fast-paced environment where initiative, accountability, and dedication are valued.
